One good thing is the mobile USB drive I bought over the last weekend. Its sleek, handy, has 40 GB storage and costs only 3200 rs including tax, compare this with the price of flash disks in the market. The koreans are very innovative in designing these electronic items, they've created a small chipset that converts the standard ATA interface to USB interface and packed it real nice so a laptop harddisk fits into it !! I'm sure mobile harddisks are going to replace the flash disks very soon, thanks to the reduction in size of harddisk and the harddisk density, there are a bunch of devices in the market that use extremely small harddisks to pack a bunch of information.
Take a look at the harddisk enclosure, I'm sure you would be tempted to buy this one.
Now I can collect a bunch of information. I'm following google's footsteps in organizing the world information :P

tamizhaaa .. machan nee solradhu correct da .. flash maari ruggeda harddisk irukka mudiyaadhu, but surea harddisk density is increasing faster than flash disks. so you can expect a similar 500 GB harddisks at the same price soon ;) but at that time flashdisks would still be 1/10th the size of it.
I actually thought of buying an extra 200 GB desktop hdd as my mobile device, but looking at the amazing size of this 2.5 inch one I coudn't resist.
Most of my friends have flash drives to move data around ... but you might know that 1~2 GB drives will not be enough for me ... how will they suffice when a 40 gb disk is not sufficient for me today :(
